The films most commonly used are: PS, PMMA and PVC in widths between 1100 and 2200mm and thicknesses from 23 to 500 micron.
Two types of products are available:
Monofilms, printed on the backside so that the film protects the design against abrasion.
Laminated films, such as:
PMMA/PVC, PS/PS, PVC/PVC and PMMA/PMMA.
The protected film is laminated on on the basic printed film. Some of these laminated films provide better resistance to weathering and ultraviolet light.
Both of the above products can be embossed with a variety of finishes (for example wood)
